Obituary of Audrey Ward

The passing of Audrey Helen (Naugler) Ward wife of Arthur Ward occurred on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Middleton, NS on January 2, 1939 she was the daughter of the late Renfred and Leola (Vidito) Naugler. Audrey worked many years for Medjuck’s Furniture Store. She was a member of the Greenwood Drive Baptist Church, volunteered at York Manor, VON, Meals on Wheels, Neighbour Link and was a member of the Christian Women Club, Willing Hands, and the Young at Heart Group. In addition to her husband, Audrey is survived by her sons, Michael (Monica) Ward and Stephen (Jennifer) Ward both of Fredericton, NB; cherished grandchildren, Brandon (Courtney), Erica, Bethany, Jillian (Colby) and Amy; brother, Douglas (Wendy) Naugler of Red Deer, AB; sister in law, Janice Naugler of Royal Road, NB. Besides her parents, Audrey was predeceased by her brothers, Arthur and Roger Naugler. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will take place at the Greenwood Drive Baptist Church on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at 2 pm with Rev. Gordon Cook officiating and Rev. Rob Guptill assisting. Interment will take place at Sunny Bank Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be Brandon Ward, Colby DeWitt, Cyril Hughes, Mark Seymour, Charles Wilby and Andrew Coy. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Chalmers Hospital Foundation (Palliative Care Unit), York Care Center or the charity of donor's choice.
