Obituary of Terrance Hawkes

The passing of Terrance “Terry” John Hawkes of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at his home. Terry was born on September 17, 1946 in Fredericton, NB, the son of the late Eugene and Myrna (Merrill) Hawkes. Terry served in the Canadian Armed Forces for over 20 years, before returning to Fredericton to work as a carpenter until his retirement. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4, Fredericton, NB. Terry is survived by his 4 children; 5 grandchildren; sister, Mary Lou Hawkes (Murray Gavel) of Vancouver, BC; brother, Pat Hawkes of Fredericton, NB. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Tay Creek, NB at 1 pm. Following the service, there will be a celebration of Terry’s life held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4, beginning at 2:30pm. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4.
