Obituary of Madeline Martin

It is with great sadness the family wish to announce the death of Madeline Myrtle (Dillon) Martin of Fredericton, NB, which occurred on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, at the age of 57. Born on July 6, 1956 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Marion (Brown) Dillon. Madeline was a homemaker and her greatest joy was her grandchildren. She also loved jigsaw puzzles, music and being outside. Madeline is survived by her daughter, Vanessa Veno (Jerry) of Keswick, NB; grandchildren, Brianna and Jonah Veno; sisters, Donna Osborne (the late Ron), Joyce Bourgoin (Reno) and Norma Brewer (Stephen) all of Burtts Corner, NB and Kathleen Brown (Jerry) of Bear Island, NB; brothers, Gerald Dillon (Lynda) of Camden East, ON, John Dillon (Betty) of Valley View, AB and Karl Dillon (Debbie) of Burtts Corner, NB; special friend, Maude McSorley of Mount Hope, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she predeceased by her husband, Livain Martin. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 2 pm with Pastor Stephen Hoyt officiating. Interment will take place in Burtts Corner Community Cemetery.
