Obituary of Ronald Phillips
The passing of Ronald “Ronnie” Bernard Phillips of Fredericton, NB, husband of Anna (Fox) Phillips occurred on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born on May 4, 1954 in Woodstock, NB, he was the son of Marjorie (Clark) Phillips and the late Bernard Phillips. Ronnie was a self employed carpenter. He enjoyed everything outdoors, bird watching, kayaking, gardening and farming; he also liked to read and he loved to dance.
In addition to the love of his life, Anna, Ronnie is survived by his children, Aaron (Tammy) of Chetwynd, BC, Manley (Kristy) of Charlottetown, PE, Emily Phillips (Daniel) and Nan Phillips both of Grande Prairie, AB (A.M.E.N.); grandchildren, Hannah, Brooke, Gabereal and Trinity; sisters, Beatrice Giberson (Donald) of Wakefield, NB, Joan Galloway (Jim) of Red Bridge, NB and Mary Rosevear (Lynn) of Quispamsis, NB; brothers, Larry Phillips (Eunice) of Fredericton, NB and Fred Phillips (Pat) of Woodstock, NB; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, April 25, 2014 from 7-9 pm. Visitation will also take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, April 26, 2014 from 12-2 pm followed by a Memorial Service at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating.
