Obituary of Eugenie Boone

The passing of Eugenie Rosaline Boone of Gagetown, NB, formerly of Oromocto, NB, wife of the late Donald Boone, occurred on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at the Orchard View Nursing Home, Gagetown, NB. Born on August 5, 1918 in St. Louis De Kent, NB, she was the daughter of the late Jacques and Margaret (Robichaud) Babin. Eugenie was a member of the Autumn Yes Plus Club Eugenie is survived by her daughters, Rose Kennelly (Michael) of Brampton, ON and Magella Kerr (Gerald) of Upper Gagetown, NB; sons, Norman Allain (Francine) of Grand Falls, NB and Vincent Allain (Helen) of Beresford, NB; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, first husband, Yvon Allain and second husband, Donald Boone, she was predeceased by her sisters, Alice, Mary, Exilda, Alma and Regina; brothers, Joseph, John and Alphonse. Visitation will take place at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Monday, April 14 from 10-12 noon followed by a Funeral Mass at 12 noon with Father Ken Weir as celebrant. Interment will take place in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Richibucto, NB at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor’s choice.
