Obituary of Floris Gibson

The passing of Floris Lillian Gibson of Douglas, NB, wife of Varney Gibson occurred on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on August 10, 1936 in Astle, NB, she was the daughter of the late Hilton and Cora (Palmer) Hunter. Floris was a member of the Nashwaaksis United Church. In addition to her husband, Floris is survived by her daughter, Karen Agnew (David); sons, Michael Gibson (Pamela) and Darren Gibson all of Fredericton, NB; two grandsons, James (Tiffany) and Stephen (Bridget); two great granddaughters, Molly and Phoebe; sisters, Hazel Inman (Paul) of Fredericton, NB, Faye Calhoun (Arden) of Fredericton, NB and Barbara Fozard (Bert) of Hamilton, ON; brother, Harding Hunter of Astle, NB; several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will take place at Nashwaaksis United Church on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 2 pm with Rev. J. D. Kennedy officiating. Reception will follow in the church hall.
