Obituary of Carol Rumble

The passing of Carol “Dianne” Rumble of Maugerville, NB, wife of Darrell Rumble, occurred on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on November 1, 1943 in New Maryland, NB, she was the daughter of the late Dona and May (Lipsett) Charters. Dianne was a devoted and loving wife for 46 years to her husband, Darrell; loving mother and a great Nan. She devoted her entire life to raising her children and supported them in all areas of their lives and accomplishments. Mom loved attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and was their biggest fan. Christmas Eve was mom’s favorite day of the year, where for years, all of the family gathered at her house. After her children were grown, Mom truly enjoyed her time working at Mulhouse Gift Shop. Dianne was an avid reader, loved to shop and had excellent taste; she was also a great cook. She really enjoyed her Sunday drives to visit her children at their homes and The Lake. We love you and will truly miss you Mom. A very special thank you, to Dr. Athar and the nurses of 4NW, especially Debbie, Joan, Amanda and Kateryna, for your kindness, caring and compassion. In addition to her husband, Dianne is survived by her children, Dale Rumble of Fredericton, NB, Janice Rickard (Davey) of Charters Settlement, NB, Brenda Seymour (Ted) of Fredericton, NB, Dawna Scott (Les) of Charters Settlement, NB, Shelly Shepard (Derek) of Fredericton, NB and Sheri Brokopp (Alan) of Charters Settlement, NB; grandchildren, Alicia Campbell, Allie Rumble, Alana Rickard, Jill Rickard, Garrett Seymour, Ryan Seymour, Jenna Scott, Mathew Shepard, Sydney Shepard, Jessica MacPherson, Laura MacPherson ad Dax MacPherson; great grandchildren, Ava Campbell, Dave Hartlen, Rose Hartlen and Zachary Beaver; two sisters, Doris Green and Norma Curtis both of Hanwell, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Dona Jr. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, March 21, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
