Obituary of Charles Redfearn

The passing of Charles Bertrum Redfearn of Fredericton, NB, husband of Burdetta (Tompkins) Redfearn, occurred on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at home. Born on October 5, 1933 in Kentville, NS, he was the son of the late Fred and Lena (Ackman) Redfearn. He was a member of Wilmot United Church. Charles retired as an Accountant for the Province of New Brunswick. He was a member of Crime Stoppers and a past member of the Board at York Care Centre. Charles was an avid golfer and a lifelong sports enthusiast. In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by his son, Dwight Redfearn (Hyun Kyung Kim) of Toronto, ON; sister, Madeline Warren of Mill Hill, London, England; nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother in law, Robert Warren. A Memorial Service will take place at Wilmot United Church on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at 2 pm with Rev. Rose-Hannah Gaskin officiating. Interment will take place at Fredericton Rural Cemetery at a later date.
