Obituary of Audrey Abernethy

It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Audrey Loretta Abernethy on Wednesday, February, 5, 2014. Born on April 12, 1929 in Bloomfield Ridge, NB, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Sadie (Scott) Munn. Audrey was a member of the Baptist Church and the Ladies’ Auxiliary, Normandy Legion Branch # 78. She loved playing darts and fishing the Miramichi. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her husband, Carroll “Ted” Abernethy and her children, Bonnie (Blair) Ramsey and Dale (Janette) Abernethy; 4 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Harvey Munn; and sisters, Marguerite (Sterling) Calhoun, Loretta (Wilson) Peacock and Addie Norrad. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brothers, Scott Munn, Delbert Munn, Raymond Munn, Hershell Munn; sister, Merle Black; and son-in-law, Blair Ramsey. There will be no visitation or Funeral Service by request. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
