Obituary of Leonard Gullison

The passing of Leonard Coleman Gullison of Stanley, NB, husband of the late Margaret (Dorcas) Gullison, occurred on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at the Nashwaak Villa. Born on September 10, 1922 in Giants Glen, NB, he was the son of the late Burpee and Lucy (Clarkson) Gullison. He was a retired woodsworker. Leonard enjoyed hunting, trapping, gardening and playing his guitar. Leonard is survived by his daughter, Lori Lee Gullison (Stephen) of Stanley, NB; sons, James (Elizabeth) Gullison of Williamsburg, NB, Haleigh Gullison (Beverley) of Giants Glen, NB, Terrance Gullison (Line) of Ottawa, ON, Timothy Gullison (Agnes) of Williamsburg, NB, Rodney Gullison (Shawna) of Boiestown, NB and David Gullison of Astle, NB; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife, he was predeceased by his sons, Donald and Glen Gullison; grandson, Reggie Gullison; sisters, Phyllis Gullison, Pauline Harvey, Josie Anderson, Florence Nason and Annie May Fullarton; brothers, Stephen Gullison, Daniel Gullison, Lewis Gullison, Allen Gullison and Stan Gullison, Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, January 31, 2014 from 6-8 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 2 pm with Rev. Pat McAloon officiating and Rev. Gordon Mowry assisting. Interment will take place in Williamsburg Community Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or the CNIB. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
