Obituary of Wendy Price

The passing of Wendy Joy Price of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Friday, January 24, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on April 9, 1954 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of Shirley (Harris) Price and the late Aubrey Price. Wendy was a devoted caregiver for 10 years for Catherine Prictard. Along with spending time with her family and friends, one of her favorite past times was spent at St. Mary’s Entertainment Center. She loved her three cats. Wendy was a strong and caring lady who was loved very much and will be missed by all who knew her. Special thank you goes out to Dr. Gowan and her two favorite nurses Greg and Laurnida on 3E; thank you so much for everything. In addition to her mother, Wendy is survived by her daughters, Peggy Henderson-Thibodeau (Steve) and Pam Henderson-Goguen (Marc) all of Nashwaak Valley, NB; grandchildren, Tiffany Henderson, Tasha Henderson and Jonathan Henderson-Thibodeau; great grandchildren, Kinley and Kylar; sisters, Jackie Grant (Wayne), Tammy Thebeau (Harvey), Darcie Fanjoy (Phillip) and Jennie McPhail (Brian); brothers, Jamie Price and Tony Price of Fredericton, NB; several nieces, nephews and special friend, Ron Hay. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Monday, January 27, 2014 from 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place in Upper Caverhill Cemetery at a later date.
