Obituary of Wayne Seveck
The passing of Wayne Edward Seveck of Douglas, NB, husband of Melissa Seveck occurred on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on September 23, 1962 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of Donna Billings and the late Jack Seveck. Wayne was employed as a licensed scaler at St. Anne Pulp and Paper Mill in Nackawic and most recently as a foreman with J.D Irving until 2010. Wayne also enjoyed salmon fishing, hunting, carpentry and loved driving his side by side.
In addition to his wife, Melissa of 18 years, Wayne is survived by his children, Alyssa, Dylan and Tara Seveck; grandchildren, Brooke, Heidi and Kyle; siblings, Pamela Dore (Glendon), Steven (Crystal) and Shawna Chase (Derrick); nephews, Trent, Adam, Brody and Tyler. Besides his father, he was predeceased by his grandparents, Hilda and Frank Seveck and Mildred and Hartley Billings; grand father in law, Edward Bavis.
A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place in Dayton Cemetery at a later date. The family wishes to thank Dr. Deborah Gowan, Dr. Keddy, Dr. Burnell and the Nurses in the Palliative Care Unit and the Oncology Unit for their care and compassion and a special thanks to Colleen Kinch.
