Obituary of Ada Dyer

Ada Mae Dyer was peacefully carried home in the loving arms of Jesus on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, after a short battle with cancer. Born on September 21, 1938 in NB, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Audrey (Somerville) Barton and the wife of the late Sherman Dyer. Ada is survived by her daughters, Audrey (Alvin) Brewer of Burtts Corner, NB, Mary (Dirk) DeRosse of Taymouth, NB and Anne (Bruce) Dyer of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Chet, Kirk (Christine), Adam, Cassandra, Lucinda and Frank; six great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Jane (Peter) Paul of Nepean, ON, Betty (Chris) Smythe-James of Fredericton, NB and Debbie (Richard) Dunphy of Fredericton, NB; step brothers, Ed McFadzen of Mississauga, ON and Robert (Frances) McFadzen of Calgary, AB; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, Leonard; step mother, Beatrice Barton; sister, Donna King and brothers, Lewis and Phillip. There will be no services by request.
