Obituary of Donald Perry

The passing of Donald Gordon Perry of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Friday, December 20, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on October 10, 1952 he was a son of the late Eldon and Elsie (McEachern) Perry. Don worked for the Provincial Government with the Department of Social Development for 31 years, retiring in March 2013. He was an avid reader, loved crossword puzzles and was a sports enthusiast, following sports teams in Montreal. Don is survived by his brother, Charlie Perry of Fredericton, NB; sister, Ruby Zack (Irwin) of Toronto, ON; several, aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Saturday, December 28, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or a charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
