Obituary of George Edwards

The passing of George “Eugene” Edwards of Fredericton, NB, husband of the late Lennie Dupuis (Wells) Edwards occurred on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Windsor Court. Born on July 3, 1926 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late George and Amy (Nicholls) Edwards. He was a Veteran of WWII. Eugene was a retired welder, he last worked at UNB. Eugene is survived by his daughter, Sherri Lynn Smith (Kevin) of Fredericton, NB; sons, James Edwards (Janis) of Fredericton, NB and Randy Edwards (Janice) of Keswick Ridge, NB; grandchildren, Andrew, David, Cory and Jeffrey; great granddaughter, Kasey; brother in law, Eddie Wells; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his infant daughter, Jeanette; sister, Doris and brother, Delbert Edwards. A Private Graveside Service will take place in Douglas Rural Cemetery.
