Obituary of Leonard Maston

The passing of Leonard Herbert Maston of McGivney, NB occurred on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on March 10, 1958 in Minto, NB, he was the son of the late Herbert and Christina (Dykeman) Maston. Leonard was a truck driver having worked for Gibson Feed Mill and DMR Transport, Sussex, NB; he then worked as a security guard at Sussex Health Center. Leonard enjoyed working on old trucks and cars. Leonard is survived by his step daughters, Yvonne Michaleson (Tony) of New Maryland, NB and Andrea Murray (Chauncey) of Moncton, NB; step son, Andre Martin of Red Deer, AB and their mother, Clara Carson-Maston; six step grandchildren; sisters, Louise Woodcock (Eddie) and Mary Sullivan (Albert) both of McGivney, NB; brothers, Paul Maston of McGivney, NB, Larry Maston and Peter Maston both of Fredericton, NB; niece, Amanda Sullivan (John) of Maple Grove, NB. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by an infant brother. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, December 13, 2013 from 2-3 pm; followed by a Funeral Service at 3 pm with Pastor Pat McAloon officiating. Interment will take place in McGivney Community Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
