Obituary of Keith Young

It is with profound sadness the family announces the passing of Keith Arnold Young of McLeod Hill, NB, husband of Elise (Cormier) Young, on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax, NS. After his relentless courageous health battles, he is now at peace. Born on September 11, 1957, he was the son of the late Pauline Stillwell. He was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces for three years. He worked as an electrician for the majority of his career and later entered the I.T. world. Keith enjoyed fishing, playing pool, playing guitar, darts, feeding backyard creatures, traveling and was an avid camper for many years. In addition to his wife, Keith is survived by his sister, Gloria Fraser (John) of Kelowna, BC; brother, Ralph Young (Dixie) of Fredericton, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides his mother, he was predeceased by his step father, Earl Williams; sister, Val Cartier and brothers, Wayne and Earl Young. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday, December 8, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church on Monday, December 9, 2013 at 11 am with Father John Jennings as celebrant.
