Obituary of Linda Painting

The passing of Linda Mary Painting, wife of James Painting, of Fredericton, NB, occurred on October 25, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on March 10, 1959 in Fredericton, NB, she was a daughter of the late Antoione and Victorine (Legacy) Aube. Linda’s passion was camping, driving her car and playing guitar. She loved to spend her time with her children and grandchildren. Besides her husband, she is survived by her sons, Arthur Painting (Mary Ann McGee) and Corey Painting (friend, Amanda); her grandchildren, Chloe Alissa McGee-Painting, Hunter James McGee-Painting and Jackie Painting; her siblings, Rita Rowan (Richard), Lionel Aube (Mary), Margaret Bungay (Clyde), Dorothy Ryan (Paul), Gerald Aube (friend, Marie), Leonard Aube (Margie), Johnny Aube (Carol) and Brenda Lyons (Robert); several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Jeanette and Jackie Arbeau. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 7 to 9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held from St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Fredericton, NB on Monday, October 28, 2013 at 2 pm with Father David Mercer officiating.
