The passing of Kathy Ann King, of Fredericton, NB, occurred on October 10, 2013 at her home. Born on January 14, 1957 in Stanley, NB, she was a daughter of Waldo Ross (Olga) and the late Nina McKay. Kathy worked as a housekeeper at Crown Plaza.
Besides her father, Kathy is survived by her son, Ross King of Fredericton, NB; nieces, Julie, Megan and Nicole MacDonald all of Fredericton, NB; step-sister, Kelly Charters; step-brother, Bev Stewart and many aunts, uncles and her family at Crown Plaza. In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by her infant daughter, Lila and her sister, Elaine MacDonald.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at 2 pm with Rev. Murray McFarlane officiating. Interment will take place in Cameron Hill Cemetery. For those who wish, donations to the family to assist with expenses would be appreciated.
