Obituary of Agnes Harding
The passing of Agnes Jane Harding of Woodlands, NB, wife of Kenneth “Bud” Harding occurred on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on September 16, 1932 in Dumfries, NB, she was the daughter of the late James and Annie (Craig) Watson. She was affiliated with the North Cardigan United Church. Agnes was a board member with the Woodlands Cemetery and Woodlands Union Church; she was also a partner in the publication of “The Woodlands Book” which became a successful fund raiser and a resource for the community.
In addition to her husband, Agnes is survived by her daughter, Deborah Harding; sons, Kenneth (Bonnie) and Jeffrey (Tammy) all of Woodlands, NB; grandchildren, Julie (Brent Suttie) Harding, Nicholas (Andrea) Harding, Jasmine and Kenneth Alexander Harding; great grandchildren, Evan Harding and Sidney Suttie; sister, Sarah (Vernon) Wilkins of Cardigan, NB; several nieces and nephews; she will also be dearly missed by Arnold and Judy Budovitch and their sons, Eric and Paul. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Annie Burnett; brothers, George and James Watson; nieces, Jane and Betty; sisters in law, Doris and Pauline Watson; brother in law, Lloyd Burnett.
Visitation will take place in York Funeral Home’s Fireside Room, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday, October 6, 2013 from 2 to 3 pm immediately followed by a memorial service in York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel at 3 pm with Mr. Wally Ellis DLM officiating. Honourary Pallbearers will be Julie, Nicholas, Jasmine, Alex, Eric and Paul. Interment will take place in Woodlands Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Woodlands Cemetery, New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of the donor’s choice.
