Obituary of Pearle Gorman

The passing of Pearle Mary Gorman of North Cardigan, NB, wife of the late Thomas Gorman, occurred on Friday, August 30, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on August 20, 1927 in Woodland, NB, she was the daughter of the late Thomas W. and Jennie (Steen) Thomas. Pearle was a member of the North Cardigan United Church and the Coronation Women’s Institute. Pearle is survived by her daughter, Coleen (Wayne) Williams of Hamtown Corner, NB; son, Royce (Theresa) Gorman of Stanley, NB; grandchildren, Angela Williams, Wendy (Larry) Morrell, Lisa (Shaun) Fullarton and Stacey (Tom) Ransom; great grandchildren, Chris, Amanda, Bradley, Kyle, Thomas, Max, Hannah and Oliver; brother, Willis (Rae) Thomas of Fredericton, NB; in laws, Jack (Fannie) Gorman and Randolph (Donna) Gorman all of Fredericton, NB; nieces, nephews and her special friend, Christine (Robert) Noel and their children, Sarah and Shauna Noel. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Dora Davidson; four infant brothers and brothers, Gerald Thomas and Leslie Thomas; special friend, Glenwood Thomas. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 12 until 2 pm, followed by a memorial service with Mr. Wally Ellis DLM officiating. Interment will take place in North Cardigan United Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the North Cardigan United Cemetery or the Stanley Just Friends Food Bank.
