The passing of Mary P. Lyons of the Central NB Nursing Home, formerly of Carroll’s Crossing occurred on Wednesday, August 7, 2013. She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard Lyons on June, 2001. She was born in Carroll’s Crossing to the late Emma and Theodore Lyons on May 19, 1932. She is survived by two daughters, Glenora (Murray) Wilson and Trena Lyons; three sons, Bernard Jr. (Rose), Herbert (Shayne) and Bruce (Bonnie); one son in law, Vaughn Price; one sister, Bertha Wilson; eight grandchildren, Lori, Andrew, Darron, David, Trevor, Tony, Misty and Bradley; two step grandchildren, Laura and Holli; seventeen great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her oldest daughter, Donna Jane Price; one great grandchild, Baby Kayden Storey; one sister, Almeda Price and four brothers, Terry, James, Clark and Eric. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon on Friday, August 9 from 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at McNamee Pentecostal Church on Saturday, August 10 at 2 pm with Rev. Cole Price officiating. Interment will follow at McNamee Pentecostal Cemetery in Porter Cove. Reception to follow at the church. The family would like to thank the staff of the Central NB Nursing Home for their kindness and great care Mom received while residing there. Charitable donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Alzheimer’s Society. Personal condolences may be offered through www.miramichivalleyfh.com
