Obituary of Maria Michaud

The passing of Maria Helena Michaud of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Irvine Parker occurred on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on March 11, 1936 in Cologne, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Fernande and Maria (Hartman) Comblain. Maria came to Canada in 1960. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church. Maria worked at Kings Landing for 22 plus years. She belonged to the Fredericton Order of the Royal Purple #202, the Fredericton Elks #274, the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary, all for 35 years. Maria is survived by her children, Camilla Michaud of Upper Kingsclear, NB, Marc “Marcus” Michaud (Linda) of Fort Lauderdale, USA, Manuel “Joe” Michaud of Montreal, QC and Carole Parker of Fredericton, NB; five grandchildren, Chanya, Myana, Oland, Austen and Stephanie; several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews all living in Germany. There will be no services by request. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or the charity of the donor’s choice.
