Obituary of Kurt Boehm

The passing of Kurt Joachim Boehm, of Fredericton, NB, husband of Magdalena (Kertesz) Boehm, occurred on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at York Care Centre, Fredericton, NB. Born on June 1, 1931 in Germany, he was a son of the late Elizabeth (Boehm) Reichert. Kurt was previously a Sales Manager with York Steel. Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Nancy Wilkins (Brent) of Fredericton, NB, M. Christine Fish (Thomas) of Nashwaak Bridge, NB and Eva O’Shea (Will) of England; five grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Rudolf (John) of Chicago, IL and Troutter Boehm; brothers, Paul (Fran) of Toronto, ON and Rudi Reichert of Germany; nephew, Thomas. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his infant daughter, Ruth. A Memorial Service will be held at York Care Centre, 100 Sunset Drive, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 2 pm with Rev. Peter Thomas officiating. A Private Interment will take place in Fredericton Rural Extension Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
