Obituary of Roger Munn
With his family by his side, Roger Lee Munn, husband of Julie (Carnegie) Munn of New Bandon, NB, went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton, NB. Born on March 26, 1962 in Newcastle, NB, Roger was a son of the late Herman and Betty Munn. He was a member of the Miramichi Valley Wesleyan Methodist Church in Doaktown and worked in silviculture. Roger was a quiet, hard worker who enjoyed the outdoors and time with both his family and church family.
In addition to his wife of 18 years, Roger is survived by his children, Erika Munn (Tyler) of Doaktown, NB and Kurtis Munn of New Bandon, NB; grandchildren, Chloe O’Donnell and Joleigh Norrad; siblings, Judy Porter (Jeff), Eugene Munn (Brenda), Jerry Munn (Darlene), Mary Lou Porter, Kevin Munn (Sureena), Susan Graham (Michael), Keith Munn, Paul Munn and Etta Munn; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Jamie Porter and sister-in-law, Lynda Munn.
Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon on Friday, July 5, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from Miramichi Valley Wesleyan Methodist Church, Main Street, Doaktown on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 2 pm with Rev. J.A. Treese officiating. Interment will be in the Wesleyan Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Greg Munn, Robert Ward, Sammie O’Donnell, Barry Pratt, Lyndon Lyons and Lloyd Munn.
