Obituary of Anthony Jacques
The passing of Anthony Earl Frederick Jacques of Calgary, AB, formerly of Fredericton, NB occurred on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 in Calgary, AB. Born on February 18, 1968 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of Earl and Shirley (MacKenzie) Jacques. Anthony was an Engineering Technician involved in civil engineering. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, hiking and golfing.
Besides his parents, Anthony is survived by his two sisters, Tammy (Doug) Boyd of Fredericton, NB and Peggy (Larry) Latouche of Keswick Ridge, NB; his niece, Jessica Boyd; two aunts, Helen (Ed) Morgan and Barbara Vincent; two uncles, Paul (Maria) Jacques and Fred (Shirley) MacKenzie; many cousins and numerous friends. Anthony was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Frederick and Alice MacKenzie and his paternal grandparents, Rev. Earl and Leona Jacques.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Monday, June 10, 2013 from 6 to 8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from Sunset Church on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 2 pm with Rev. Joseph Beesley officiating, Rev. Wayne Flowers and Rev. Dale Riley assisting. Pallbearers are Dale O'Donnell, Bobby McQuinn, Peter Bishop, Robert Nagle, Terry Vincent and Eugene O'Donnell. Honourary Pallbearers are Wayne Jacques, Tony Morgan and Greg Coy. Interment will take place in Dayton Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
