Obituary of Raymond Alvery Doiron

It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the sudden passing of Raymond Alvery Doiron of Killarney Road, NB, in his home, surrounded by his loved ones. He was the son of the late John Louis and Ida (Barrieau) Doiron.

Survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Catherine Doiron; daughter, Tammy (Tony) and son, Richard (Renee). He will be missed by his grandchildren that know him as “Gramp”, granddaughters, Shelby (Travis), Hope (Connor), Jayla and Lexie; grandson, Alden and great-grandson, Brantley.

Raymond enjoyed guitar parties, playing cards with his friends and passing around some good smoke (Affy), family suppers, and revving his Silver ’90 GMC Sierra Stepside up and down Union Street.

He will truly be missed by all.

Visitation will be held from York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Sunday, January 19, 2025 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm. The Funeral Service will take place in York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, January 20, 2025 at 2:30 pm with Father Maria Arokiam Chinnappan officiating.
