Obituary of Pamela Winnifred Evans

The peaceful passing of Pamela Winnifred Evans occurred on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 surrounded by her family and closest friends. Born on June 16, 1954 to Gerald and Effie (MacLean) Evans.

Pamela is survived by her son, Luca Sciangola (Brittany) of Calgary, AB and their daughter, Sophia. Also left to mourn are Pamela’s sisters, Gail Spencer of Ottawa, ON, Kathleen Kerwin (Richard) of Fredericton, NB, Susan Daye of Calgary, AB and Jennifer Evans (Jay Williams) of Toronto, ON and their families; as well as many close friends.

Besides her parents, Pamela was predeceased by her husband, Luigi Sciangola and nephew Cameron Daye.

Pamela lived a life filled with love and on her own terms. A gathering of Family and friends to honour Pamela will take place. The family would like to send a heart felt thank you to all of the Nurses, PSW’s and everyone that has helped along the way. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice Fredericton (Palliative Care Resource Network Inc.) or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
