McCarthy, William “Bill” Joseph
The passing of William Joseph McCarthy of Fredericton, NB, occurred on January 1, 2025 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on January 22, 1975 in Corner Brook, NL, he was the son of Ramona (Glode) McCarthy and the late George McCarthy. Bill ran his own company called “Dirty Dogs” in his earlier years. He had a love for fishing, especially with his grandfather James.
William is survived by children; Kaitlyn & Maddox; brother, James McCarthy of Fredericton; niece, Nicole McCarthy; close cousins, Melissa Glode (Andrew) and Dwayne Glode (Michelle); aunt, Lisa Glode-Dozier (James).
Besides his father, he was predeceased by his grandparents, James & Myrtle Glode.
Interment will take place in Newfoundland at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
