The passing of Agnes Elizabeth “Betty” Amos of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Percy Amos, occurred on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on January 31, 1933 in Zionville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Hilton and Elizabeth (Nicholls) Fullerton.

She was a member of Nashwaaksis United Church and a member of the Orange Lodge. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, doing puzzles, square dancing and spending time at the trailer and playing endless games of cribbage.

Betty is survived by her sons, Thomas "Tom" Amos (Tobi Brooks), Allen Amos (Sandra) and Alfred Amos; daughter-in-law, Beverly Amos; grandchildren, Sara, Evan, Rebecca, Matthew, Jennifer, Amanda, Richard, Darin and Tyler; great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband and parents, Betty was predeceased by her son, Hilton Amos; daughters-in-law, Janice Amos and Donna Amos.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Sunday, January 5,2025 from 1-2 pm; followed by a Memorial Service at 2 pm with Pastor Mike Trail officiating. The service will also be available through www.yorkfh.com (Link at top of the obituary). Interment will take place in Douglas Rural Cemetery at a later date.
