Having grown up in Ontario, I didn’t spend a lot of time with uncle Paul, but I always enjoyed the time we did spend together. In the summers, we would often drive out to spend some time with Paul and Vera at their cottage. Those visits were always very special to me.
When I think of Paul, I remember his love for his family and his community, his sense of humour, and his smile (with a hint of mischief).
Sending lots of love to all.

I am eternally grateful for the time I spent with Paul this summer talking about our childhoods and so many memories. I knew it was a gift at the time and so much more precious now. I will miss my big brother more than words can say.

As Grace and I reminisce on our being such good neighbors on Ganges Ct., Oromocto for so many years, we didn't get to meet most of the family however got to know Vera and Chet very well. Paul and I never hesitated to help each other when required. And Chet was a wealth of information for both our boys heading off to St Thomas University. RIP my friend and I know you will be sorely missed!!

I met Paul in 62, I was with the Black Watch in Fort St. Louis, Werl Germany . Paul posted with Ordinance Corp. We became good friends and traveled together on leave. He especially enjoyed a trip to England to visit my relatives.
Condolences to Vera and family.

Paul was like the Energizer Bunny. Powered by his love for Vera and his family. He was a caring soul who was always ready, willing, and able to lend a helping hand or provide a shoulder to lean on. Paul's positive energy and enthusiasm were contagious.
With Paul, what you saw is what you got, and that was a kindhearted, non-pretentious man who made everyone feel at home and felt at home with everyone that was lucky enough to cross his path.
He was my big brother, and someone that I looked up to with pride. He always had and always will have a cherished place in my heart as long as I live.
