Dearest Darlene, I am so sorry for your loss of wonderful Manley who brought you such a rich life. I always smiled when I thought of your lovely late life romance. You both were so lucky to have that time together and I always was so very happy for you. This is a very sad time for you but you have so many fabulous memories of your time together. Wish I could be there today but it was impossible so I will be praying for you and your family. Love you so much, Sharon <3

My memory of Manley goes back to my childhood days when Manley and his family lived in Parkers Ridge near our one room school house and across the road from his parents house. Later, he built a new house in Boiestown, across the road from Charlie Spencer's place and near our high school and new elementary school. (Charlie Spencer was our one room school house teacher.)
Manley was the father of my friend Larry and the husband of one of my favorite teachers. What I remember best about Manley was his sense of humor and laughter.
Larry, Susan, Darlene, and all who loved and befriended Manley, may you find comfort in fond memories of him.
