Obituary of Thelma Evelyn Titus
Please share a memory of Thelma to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
April 3, 1933 - October 18, 2024
It is with great sadness we mark the passing of Thelma Evelyn "Pum" Titus (Ingraham). Born at what was then called Victoria Mills, she grew up with the St. John River at her door and had many fond memories of a carefree childhood with the river as a playground. She was a stay-at-home mom with her family at the centre of her life. She was an excellent cook and every child in the neighbourhood knew that. Thursday was baking day and all were welcome to drop by. She loved life and enjoyed many things; playing games, music, dancing and drives in the country, but her family was all important.
She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Fred; daughter, Faith (Duff); sons, Glen (MaryLou) and Andrew (Kathrine); grandchildren, Ben (Margherita), Lacey (Shane), Robee, Sam (Rebecca), Koan (Gabby) and MayaVeye; great grandchildren, Julianna, Joseph, Charlotte, Audrey, Sophie and Dylan.
She was predeceased by daughter, Ellen; parents, Curtis and Beatrice (Blizzard) Ingraham and by her siblings, Mildred, Myrtle, Frank, Ada and Marie.
She will be greatly missed and long remembered.
“Only in the agony of parting do we look into the depth of love”
There will be a Private Family Graveside Service at Sunny Bank Cemetery, Fredericton, NB. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Fredericton Foodbank would be appreciated by the family, or bake cookies for the kids in your neighbourhood. She would love that.
