The passing of Marilyn Joyce Crisp of Nashwaak Village, NB, wife of Roger Blair Crisp, occurred on October 17, 2024, at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on October 23, 1948, in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Nettie Mae (Dunphy) Downie and the late Ivan Mac Downie. 

Marilyn was a dedicated woman who loved her family and church. She was a lifelong member of the Grace Memorial Baptist Church and was a proud member of their Choir and worship team.

Marilyn is survived by sons Andrew Crisp, son Byron Crisp (Gina), son Stephen Crisp (Jessica); granddaughters Emma, MacKenzie, Madison, and Blair; grandson Decklyn; Step Grandchildren Emily, Keenan, Naneek; Great Grandchildren Ella, Libby, Finley; sister Janet Jewett (Greg); and her nieces Becky Mabee (Ryan), Jennifer Jewett, Sarah Teriq (Bilal).

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of York Funeral Home 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB where a Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2024, from 2 pm to 5 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Grace Memorial Baptist Church, 536 Northumberland St, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at 2 pm. Interment will take place Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at 10:30am at Fredericton Rural Extension. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Grace Memorial organ fund, kidney foundation of Canada, or the Canadian liver foundation.
