Obituary of Percy John Palmer

The passing of Percy John Palmer formerly of Ludlow, NB occurred on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Nashwaak Villa in Stanley, NB.  Born on April 27, 1955 in Ludlow, he was the son of the late John Percival and Myrtle Isabella (Pond) Palmer. Percy was a mechanic by trade. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and 4-wheeling in his spare time.

 

Percy is survived by his son, Wayne Palmer (Betty Dawn Nason); daughter, Julie Hoskins (Steve); grandchildren, Tobi, Kaitlyn, Shelby, Isabella, Mia and Patrick; great-grandchildren, Cohen, Joseph and Bradley; sister, Becky Porter; several nieces, nephews and cousins.


Besides his parents, Percy was predeceased by his sisters, Willa Jonah and Joan Harding; and his infant brother, Vernon.

 

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Miramichi Valley Chapel, 7681 Route 8, New Bandon, NB where a Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at 2 pm with Rev. Rick Brewer officiating.  Interment will follow in Ludlow United Baptist Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer Society or Kidney Foundation.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
