To all of Norm’s extended family.
I regret I was not able to attend the funeral for Norm,I knew him through Shriners. He was a dedicated worker in all he did in the Masonic Order and elsewhere.
His contributions were many.
May your memories of times with Norm comfort you now and in the future.
Sincerely
Doug Johnson

I always enjoyed talking to Norman, and less than two weeks ago learned that he knew the head officer of the air cadet squadron (581) I was in back in the early '70s in Castlegar, BC. Small world. My sincere condolences and sympathy to Carol, Krista and the entire family.
Sincerely,
Jon

Carol and Family
Sorry to hear of Norm's passing. He was liely person, always had a joke or witticism to share. Norm had a stong moral character, speaking up when things wer not right. He was a good friend. On various camping trips, Norm and Carl always participated and welcomed all newcomers. He was a very capable representative for the National Association of Retired Federal employees. Norm was always there to greet you at the door with a handshake and a smile. Norm will be greatly missed.
With all our thoughts and prayers,
Maureen & Dana Caslake

I believe I was 9 years old when my cousin Norman went off to join the Air Force. His Dad (my uncle Roland) had the only black and white television in the neighborhood and I would see Norman and his brother David occasionally when I went over to watch Robin Hood. The whole family was always so kind and welcoming. Norman’ s obituary has so wonderfully captured his character - always the gentle man full of good humour and of strong moral fiber. My sincere condolences to his wife Carol, his children and extended family.

Norman was not just family, he was friend as well. He was held in the highest regard by so many people, and deservedly so as he was always authentic and genuinely interested in your answer when he asked you a question.
He'll be missed.
My condolences to his immediate family, as well as the extended one and all his friends.
Godspeed Norman,
