Obituary of Roy Duncan Savage

It is with great sadness, the family of Roy Duncan Savage announce his passing on Tuesday, October 1st, 2024 at the Dr Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on January 23, 1959 in Montreal, QC, he was the son of the late Lois and Ronald Savage. 

 

He is survived by his two children, Ashley Savage (Ethan), Logan Savage (Kayla) and their mother, Rose Savage; granddaughter, Piper; step-daughter, Brittany DeAngelis (Zach) of Calgary, AB; his sister, Lorraine Savage Thomas (Ken) of Coquitlam, BC; and his longtime friend, Jane Anne McLaughlin.  

 

Roy enjoyed the outdoors in his younger years and was always eager to go boating, snowmobiling and 4-wheeling. Over the last few years, he was always happy to go for long drives to spend time with loved ones. Anyone that knew Roy, knew he always had a dog by his side for company. 

 

The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to your local SPCA to reflect on his love and passion for dogs. 

 

Family and friends are welcome to gather at graveside on Friday, October 11, 2024 at 2 pm at the Old Holy Trinity Anglican Church Cemetery, 373 Route 101, New Maryland, NB. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
