Obituary of Valerie Ann King

Valerie Ann King, a cherished woman known for her big heart and humorous personality, born April 7th, 1955, sadly left us on September 19th, 2024.

Marrying the love of her life Paul Joseph King on July 28th, 1973.  They built a family together with their two boys Joseph Murray King and Jason Arnold Ryan King on the Mazerolle Settlement Road surrounded by their extended families.

Valerie was a caretaker most of her life, welcoming many children and adults into her home and heart over the years.

Anyone who knew  Valerie  would  know  that  her  family  was  her  proudest  achievement,  as  she  would  always  tell  people  about  how  much  she  loved  her  boys,  their  wives,  and  the  families  they  have  built  of  their  own,  she  would  often  tell  people  she  couldn't  believe  how  lucky  she  was.

Valerie is predeceased by her beloved husband Paul King, her parents Murray and Dorothy Ward, and a special sister-in-law Hazel Ward.

She is survived by her sons; Joseph King (Sarah) and Jason King (Kayla). Siblings; Vernon Ward (Hazel-passed), David Ward (Marie), Kenny Ward, Gerald Ward (Mary), Marilyn Cleveland (Danny), and Andy Ward (Tina). Her cherished grandchildren; Rebecca, Olivia, Scott King, Tayah King and Jaxon, Leo King. Many nieces and nephews, especially niece Jeannie Ward, several cousins, especially Ellen Bransfield, honorary grandchildren; Kierra and Abby Walsh, Liam and Chloe Palk.

The family will be having a celebration of life at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at 11 am with Pastor Terry Messer officiating. Followed by an interment for Valerie and Paul at Saint Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Hanwell, NB.

For those who wish remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Diabetes Canada or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
