Obituary of Windsor Edward Davies

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Windsor Edward Davies of Stanley, NB, beloved husband of Marianne Remand, on September 11, 2024, at Nashwaak Villa. Windsor was born on September 13, 1937, in Stanley, NB, to the late Alice Maud (Evans) Davies and the late Samuel Thomas Davies.

Windsor is fondly remembered by his brother Leslie Davies and sister-in-law Barbara, along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings Cyril Davies, Flora Elliott, Nancy Scott, Samuel Davies Jr., and John 'Jack' Davies, all of New Brunswick.

Windsor dedicated 36 years of his career as a Welder in the Repair Shop with CN Rail. He had a passion for hunting, gardening, and reading, often visiting the library in Fredericton. He also enjoyed hobby farming and was particularly fond of country music.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional care Windsor received from Dr. Gonzales, as well as the nurses and staff of Nashwaak Villa.

There will be no Visitiation or Funeral Service at this time, a Private Family Celebration will take place at a later date. In memory of Windsor, donations may be made to Nashwaak Villa or a charity of the donor's choice. Personal condolences can be shared through www.yorkfh.com.
