The passing of Garnet “Burns” Peacock of Stanley, NB, husband of the late Edith Benoit) Peacock, occurred on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Nashwaak Villa.  Born on February 16, 1934 in Stanley, NB, he was the son of the late Garnet and Sadie (Pond) Peacock. Burns was a mechanic who loved singing in church choir, old cars and talking on the phone. He was very social and enjoyed visiting friends and family.

 

Burns is survived by his children, Darlene Clarkson (Bill), Marvin Peacock (Wendy), Laurie O'Donnell (Lyndon); grandchildren, Michelle Clarkson, Derek Clarkson, Tyler Peacock (Amanda), Madison Peacock and Lacey Smith; great-grandchildren, Kalan and Alvah; brother, Wilson Peacock (Loretta); many nieces, nephews and extended families.

 

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Friday, September 6, 2024 from 12-2 pm.  A Funeral Service will be held at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 2 pm with Pastor Gordon Mowry officiating.  Interment will be in Taymouth Community Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
