Ivan Herman Morehouse

The passing of Ivan Herman Morehouse of Brewers Mill, NB, husband of Eleanor (Farris) Morehouse, occurred on Sunday, September 1, 2024 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on July 1, 1955 in Zealand Station, NB, he was a son of the late Herman and Phyllis (Estey) Morehouse.   

In addition to his wife, Ivan is survived by his son, Gerry Crossman; step-sons, Craig Morehouse (Wendy) and Barry Morehouse (Gloria); granddaughters, Kayla, Rebecca (Kyle) and Emily; siblings, Lelia Shannon, Norwood Morehouse (Barbie); and niece and nephews.

Besides his parents, Ivan was predeceased by his brother, Martin Morehouse; and brother-in-law, Glen Shannon.

Ivan was a concrete finisher by trade but a jack of all trades. He was always willing to lend a hand to help out someone as he had such a kind heart. Ivan enjoyed going to the camp with family and friends, having a cold one and a good laugh. He enjoyed the moose hunt, hoping someone in their group would get a license. He also loved going on his side by side, fishing, hunting and the Toronto Maple Leafs.

In keeping with Ivan's wishes there will be no visitation or service. For those who knew Ivan, please remember him by his kind nature, and if you wish, do a good deed for someone in his memory.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
