Obituary of Judy Carrier (nee Chase)

With heartfelt sadness, the family of Mary “Judy” Judith Ann Carrier (nee Chase) of Upper Hainesville, NB, occurred on Sunday, September 1, 2024 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville, NB.  Born on December 14, 1954 in Sudbury, ON, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Rena (Meunier) Chase. Judy was a trained seamstress and loved to bake. She was known affectionately as the Cheesecake Lady. She had a love of mother nature, fishing, camping, gardening and boating. A kind hearted woman, she was a beloved mother to everyone that knew her and will be greatly missed by all.

Judy is survived by her daughter, Shona Mae Kennedy of Edmonton, AB; granddaughter, Tanisha Jean Robinson, great-children, Kimora Mizuki Robinson and Jimmy Charles Robinson; aunts, Helena Mary Barr and Jeannine Mary Odo.

Besides her parents, Judy was predeceased by her son, Dana Kennedy; sister, Patsy Chase; brother, Richard Chase; sister, Tammy Chase.
 

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton. There will be no public services at this time. A Celebration of Judy’s Life will be announced at a later date.
