Doris Eileen  Hannan
September 30, 1925 – August 10, 2024

Doris Eileen Hannan, a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2024, at the age of 98. Born in London, England, on September 30, 1925. Doris’s life was a journey of love, resilience, and dedication to her family along with her Love for her Saviour Jesus Christ.

During World War II, Doris met and married Donald Keith Hannan, a Canadian soldier stationed in England. Their love story began amid the turbulence of war, and together they embarked on a new chapter in life when they moved to St. Stephen NB. Canada. There, they built a life filled with warmth and togetherness.

Doris was predeceased by her husband, Donald Keith Hannan; and her cherished son, Donald (Steve) Hannan (Lori). Doris is survived by her daughters, Eileen Belley and Margaret Hannan: and her sons, James Hannan (Ginette), and Neil Hannan (Leslie), all of Fredericton, NB. Doris is also survived by her adored grandchildren, Brett Hannan , Allyson Bowen , Kristine Hannan , Dawn Marie McKinney , Shelley Hannan and 12 great-grandchildren. Along with special family friends Karen Simonson and Krystal Simonson-Legacy.

Doris’s home was a beacon of love and joy, where her gentle spirit and nurturing heart brought her family together. Her legacy of kindness and strength will continue to inspire all who knew her.

A private memorial service will be held to honor Doris’s life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to a charity of your choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com.

Doris will be deeply missed, but her love and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
