Obituary of Antoinette Marie LeBlanc

The passing of Antoinette Marie LeBlanc, wife of Romeo J. LeBlanc of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at the Dr Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton.  Born on April 23, 1933 in Richibucto, NB, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Suzanne (Richard) Vautour. In her early years, Antoinette worked in a fish factory in Richibucto before marrying Romeo and raising her children.

In addition to her loving husband, Antoinette is survived by her daughters, Shirley McCoy (Aubrey), Joan Swan (Charlie); grandchildren, Benjamin, Tarah (Phillip) and Caleb; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Yvonne and Antoine (Alice); several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Francois, Henri, Alphonse, Lionel; and sisters, Diana, Jeannine.

Following Antoinette’s wishes, there will be no public services. A Private Service will be held from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel and will be followed by the interment in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Fredericton at a later date.
