LYONS, JERRY WADE of Fredericton, NB passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on July 16, 2024 at the age of 68. Jerry is survived by his wife Paula; two daughters, Kara Lyons-Dietz (Drew) of Shawnigan Lake, BC and Krista Lyons (Matt) of Bathurst, NB; two sons, Jason Lyons (Anna) of Cape Breton, NS and Wade Lyons of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Justin, Michael, Johnathon, Logan, Brandon, Nathan, Kimberley, Danielle, Mackenzie and Krystyna. He is also survived by two sisters, Muriel Haines (Fred) of Petawawa, ON and Cathey Lyons of Fredericton, NB; six brothers, Weyman Lyons (Victoria) of Fredericton, NB, Laddie Lyons of Fredericton, NB, Garry Lyons (LaDonna) of Fredericton, NB, Ken Lyons (Joyce) of Coaldale, AB, Robert Lyons (Mae) of Fredericton, NB and Lorne Lyons (Cathy) of Coalhurst, AB; as well as many nieces and nephews. 

He was predeceased by his parents, Elinor (Munn) Longuepee and Murray Lyons; three sisters, Viola Welch, Carolyn Eggleton and Linda Smith.

The family would like to thank all the caring medical staff at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital especially the ER Department and the nurses and staff of 4SE. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024  from 2-4 pm at the Marysville Heritage Center, 11 McGloin Street (due to a road closure tied to construction on the Marysville Bridge, you can take Bridge Street to Marshall Street and follow Marshall Street to Fisher Ave and to McGloin). Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
