Obituary of Erma Christena Price

The passing of Erma Christena (Miller) Price, wife of the late Herbert Donald Ross Price, occurred on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at York Care Center. Born on July 29, 1938 in Dumfries, NB, she was the daughter of the late William and Amy (Scott) Miller. She was a very active member of St. John the Evangelist Church. She belonged to the Elm Tree Square Dance Club and was awarded the Distinguished Service Award by the Federation of Dance Clubs of New Brunswick.

Erma is survived by her daughters, Connie Ballard (Ron) and Donna Price, both of Fredericton; son, Ronnie Price (Susan) of Hanwell; grandchildren, T.C. Ballard (Emma), Christina Ballard (Tristen Little), Nicholas Price (Brittney), Trevor Price (Lauren); great grandchildren, Declan, Grace and Clare; brother, Everett Miller of Dumfries; sister-in-law, Audrey Patterson (Mike); brothers-in-law, Roger Price (Barb) and George Price (Judy); several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents Erma was predeceased by her infant twin sons, Gary and Larry; brothers-in-law, Allan Price, Ronald Brown, Lawrence Sinnett, David Morton, Eugene Goodine; sisters-in-law, Shirley Miller, Eileen Sinnett, Betty Goodine, Marion Brown.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church, 75 Main Street on Friday, June 28, 2024 at 2 pm with the Rev. Paul Ranson officiating. Interment will take place at the church cemetery immediately following the service. Pallbearers will be T.C. Ballard, Christina Ballard, Nicholas Price, Trevor Price, Rockland Miller and Owen Miller.
