Don always said he led a full life which he shared with everybody through the many stories he would tell. One could always find him hanging out as part of the Old Kootz at the Lunar Rogue on Thursday’s.

Don is survived by his wife of 59 years, Joyce (Daly) Gemmell; their sons, Mike (Kelly) of Douglas, James (Jennifer) of Ottawa and Rob (Britany) of New Maryland; grandchildren, Morrigan, Patrick, Peter and Portia; brother, William of Sudbury; sister, Karen (Jerry) Wilson of Ottawa; brother-in-law, Frank Gibson and several nieces and nephews.
