Trevor “Andrew” Currie of Temperance Vale, NB passed away peacefully listening to his favourite hymns, surrounded by his family at the Dr. Everett. Chalmers Hospital on Saturday, May 25th, 2024.

Andrew was born in Fredericton, NB on December 2nd, 1970 to Allan and the late Lois (Fraser). He was the oldest of his two siblings, Joanne Williams (Scott), and Mark Currie (Holly).

Andrew graduated from Devon Park Christian School in 1988, and then attended NBBI in 1989. He made many friendships during his school years.

In 1993, Andrew married the love of his life, Lisa (Schriver). They had 3 children together, Alexandria Walton (Shane), Jacob Currie, and Madison Currie (Keon). Many memories were created as a family while they lived in Alberta, and Ontario, but primarily in New Brunswick. Andrew was a devoted husband, proud father, and always made sure his family was taken care of.

In 2017, Andrew became a grandparent to Kennedy, followed by Jameson in 2018. They called him Bucky, and he carried this title proudly. He loved watching movies with them, watching truck videos, and spending as much time as he could with them.

The last 3 years, Andrews constant source of comfort was Gypsy, his Bernese Mountain dog.

Andrew had a variety of truck driving jobs over the years, but his true love was working in the woods with a self loader.

Andrew had his first lung transplant in 2012, followed by another in 2015 in Toronto, Ontario. Andrew and Lisa made many friendships during his lung transplant journey, and they enjoyed their yearly trips to Toronto for his assessments. Andrew was resilient, determined, and defied all odds during his health journey.

Besides his mother, Andrew was predeceased by his grandparents, Herbert and Ida Currie, and Ottie “Pup” and Vera Fraser.
