The gentle passing of Darleen Ann Dewar (Eagles) R.N. of
Darleen graduated from
Darleen enjoyed gardening, needlework and quilting with friends but her deepest and greatest joy in life was the love and joy brought by her daughter and granddaughter. Darleen wished to express her gratitude to Kim and Addie, who so graciously and lovingly invited her into their home and provided care and support in so many ways during her times of need. Also, a special thank you to wonderful friends, Carol Hallett for helping with transportation and company during many lengthy drives; Ann and Don Coles and Cecile Grant for their visits and inspiration in their favorite hobby.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberley Dawn Burnett (Frank Larocque) and granddaughter, Addison Ann Burnett of
Darleen and family would like to thank the many doctors, nurses, specialists, and extra mural personnel who provided care and assistance during her lengthy illness.
Arrangements have been entrusted to York Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the organization of your choice, or by doing a kind deed.
