Sherry, Shirley, and Leonard , and to Bella s Children, Joanne, Jacalyn and Freddie and your Families, Shirley (MacKinnon) and .I ( Annie Hood MacKinnon), are saddened to read of Bella s death. We send you our heartfelt condolences while you navigate this time of sadness and loss of your Sister and your Mother and Grandmother. Bella was always known to me because of her joyful and outgoing manner and how she always spoke to me of my Mother, Edna Hood, who Bella had known. Mowatt and Annie were my Mother s first Cousins,( and my Mother named me after Annie) . I knew Mowatt well, because we often met at St Peter s Presbyterian along with Helen and Sherry before I moved to Alberta. I regret that Bella and I never visited ,--Bella left this world with a trunk full of Family knowledge, that I hope some of you have recorded. May you find comfort in days to come-as you gather to celebrate Bella s life in Tay Creek, later this summer--I hope that there will be more smiles than tears. Sincerely, Annie Hood MacKinnon, Yarmouth, NS -and Shirley MacKinnon ( Bill, deceased) MacKinnon, Red Rock, NB.

Jacalyn, Joanne, & Freddie,
I'm so sorry on the loss of your Mom. I have fond memories of visiting at your place and your Mom always made me feel right at home. I was thinking of her recently when I came across several "Barbie doll" outfits that had been made by Aunt Bella.
She certainly was a very talented lady.
Sincere condolences to all of you and your families.

I was very sad to learn of Bella’s passing. Jacalyn, Joanne, Freddie and families, my thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. Bella was a wonderful person. I will always have fond memories of her knitting socks, putting puzzles together, quilting, gardening (especially poinsettias); and her love for Christmas. Bella and I decorated the Christmas tree for her and Dad with all of her beautiful ornaments. She will definitely be missed.

To Bella's family;
Saddened to learn of Bella's passing but what a life she has lived. She and Joyce were great friends and they both enjoyed weekly trips to listen to music and dance with their crew. Tony would tag along with them to Millville and other places on occasion and thoroughly enjoyed the many laughs and of course the music. Thinking of you all at this time.

I never foget when I was about 7 or 8, I was over visiting. The Tay Creek Picnic was almost upon us,
Bella was busy making pies. She seemed to be making so many. So I asked her if she was cooking for the Picnic. Not realizing that the Catholic women cooked for the Picnic. She had quite a laugh over that.
You were such a good neighbour, and always looked out for us. Think of you and this story anytime someone mentions memories of the Tay Creek Picnic.
Sincerely,
Judy (Godin) Green
